With the pandemic that has shook and affected the tourism industry, Banyan Tree hopes to still expand themselves and keep people connected as much as possible. In doing so, this platform(Beyond) aims to engage the community by showcasing inspiring stories about people, travel and means of living well.

Sticking to their values on community empowerment, social initiatives and sustainable development, Banyan Tree created another digital platform to engage individuals.

Re-creating their existing platform(web page) that aims to engage and accommodate users through a seamless experience. In the new revamp, users are able to visit on both their desktop and mobile at their own time. Increasing also the traffic and presence to this platform.

The Problem

The existing platform was not gaining enough presence and visitors to the site. - We needed to find out what type of platform suits best.

The following components are the current causes of strain:

  1. Unclear landing page
    Users could not tell what the site was about.

  2. Content and information hierarchy don’t flow well
    The descriptions and visuals weren’t matching and users were facing difficulties understanding the intent.

  3.  Problems with navigating
